A little quote I picked up, which I would like to share with you. 

"Life is What Happens To You While You're Busy Making Other Plans"

I heard that quote a few times over the years, but recently it has become more profound. 

I believe that we are always growing and changing, for some of us it's on a conscious level and for other's it's on a subconscious level. I am telling you this because a few years ago I was very overweight and smoked like a chimney. 

I made a conscious decision to change my life for the better. I stopped smoking and joined the local gym and also started cycling as a way to keep fit. The passion for cycling I had as a young boy come back in floods. So with the money I saved from stopping smoking, I bought myself a nice bike. I started cycling every weekend. In the summer of 2012 I did a lot of cycling on London's canals, it was on those cycling trips I dreamed of one day doing a cycling tour, but at that time it was just a dream. 

A lot has happened to me in such a short space of time, and today I find myself about to embark on a three month tour of Spain, Portugal, South of France and maybe even Italy, which is why the above quote is so apt.  

Europe Trip. 

My journey has no finishing line or dedicated route. I will be following the west coast as far a possible with the odd visit to places that take my fancy along the way.
